Celica GT-S pulls up next to me at a light. light turns green and we both take it easy. we're going about 40 and i downshift to 2nd. damn, i have to shift immediately out of redline to 3rd and this is where he gained on me. once i shifted, he was one car ahead of me but didn't gain. we just kept at it till around 80 and i shut her down. i couldn't gain on the bastard. how the heck can a v6 not gain on a four banger? i know the weight difference but that's more of a factor at first launch. once its rolling, i would have assumed that the 6 would power out the 4. what does a gts do in the 1/4 stock and 0-60?
